What is Sudoku?

Sudoku has become a popular puzzle game and often features alongside crosswords in newspapers and magazines. The aim of the game is to fill in 9x9 grid with the numbers 1 to 9. The rules are quite simple:

• Each row must contain the numbers 1 through 9
• Each column must contain the numbers 1 through 9
• Each 3x3 section must contain the numbers 1 through 9
